Structure
There are currently 18 trustees on the Management Committee – 9 nominated from the membership of the Scheme through the Trades Unions and 9 appointed by the Employers. For the current members of the Committee click on the “Locations and Names” button below.
The Committee meets at least three times a year (normally February, June, and September) to discuss the management of the Scheme. Its Chairman is Bob Avis, who was a Director of Human Resources and has served in the steel industry for over 38 years.
Investment policy is supervised by an Investment Committee of 9 Directors - 4 of whom are company nominations, 4 nominated by the trade unions, and the Fund's Investment Manager.
